If you have an interest in Frame Relay this PowerPoint presentation will give you an understanding of the underlying technology. Each slide has sound narration and some slides contain animation.

There are two presentations.

The first, Frame Relay, PPT, was created using PowerPoint 2000. It requires Internet Exployer to get the full benifit of the animation and sound. If you have a high speed connection and run the tutorial in automatic mode (select the icon in the lower right side) it will take about 40 minutes. You can also select individual slides to review. To break out of auto mode hit the ESC key.

The second, Frame Relay Wanadu, Flash, was created by using Wanadu software ("www.wanadu.com") to convert the PowerPoint to Flash. The advantage is you are no longer restricted to MicroSoft.

To best learn about Frame Relay, my recommendation is to go through the slides first in auto mode and then review where you need.

My intention is to create a means for Learning over the WEB, viewable with any kind of browser.

This is the closest I have been able to come to a live classroom.

The third "GPS" was done as a personal learning experience. For more of distant learning examples see bicycling/bicycle classes.
